Family Portraits at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
It was a seriously hot day, but none the less as picturesque as can be. With vivid blue Floridian skies and soft fluffy clouds, I was off to photograph some Family Portraits at Disney’s Magic Kingdom for Candice and her adorable family who were visiting Orlando on a family vacation.
This power couple travels all over the world and always makes sure to capture the fun through professional photographs. I always love photographing at Magic Kingdom because the staff are extremely lenient, flexible and helpful. The grounds are always perfectly primed and you rarely have bored or agitated children during family pictures. An extra perk is the many facilities where you can take a break and cool off as Florida can be dangerously hot in the summer time.
We had such a blast! one of my favorite moments: breaking for french fries and getting to see all of their recent traveling pictures including from Paris and Mexico.
Being an avid traveler myself, I’ve realized during the last few years that I feel the most alive when experiencing life through traveling and learning about different cultures. We definitely bonded through our love for exploring this beautiful planet!
Here is a quick sneak peek.

Anuj and Ambika’s New Jersey Indian Wedding Photography
I had the lovely honor of photographing Anuj’s and Ambika’s Wedding which took place in New Jersey last month. The Ceremony and reception took place at a newer venue called The Marigold which is popular for Indian weddings. I photographed Anjuj’s Brothers Wedding in NJ 3 years ago (see here), and Anuj’s Brother’s, Wife’s brother’s wedding (See here) in Atlanta 2 years ago (I know, a bit confusing) so I’m always excited to be around people that now feel like family to me. Let’s just say I’ve been around a bit!
Benjamin came along for the ride as my second shooter and photography assistant. The ceremony was a traditional Vedic yagia (sacrificial fire) followed by a day time reception in a large hall on the property. Talk about a beautiful display of food and details. The color scheme was a multitude of colors which seamlessly and surprisingly blended so well together. And OMG, they had the most beautiful wedding cake that I have ever seen! They also had the Mayapuris and Gaura Vani there performing some beautiful Kirtan (sacred music) to help usher in the festivities and lots of dancing. We headed to Rutgers university to do their formal pictures just as the sun was setting.
Favorite moment: Taking beautiful pictures of the gorgeous Ambika. Another Great moment was seeing Gaura Gopal there, whom is a famous speaker known for his funny spiritual talks. I was a bit star struck! You can view him in action here.
Hope you enjoy their sneak peek!

Wedding Photography Portraits in New York City
I was lucky enough to photograph this gorgeous couple’s Wedding Photography Portraits in New York City while there for another wedding. Benjamin, my second shooter and I went straight from our flight to meet them in downtown Brooklyn to shoot their wedding formals under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge in the gorgeous Dumbo neighborhood. Life has been a whirlwind of traveling as of lately, finding myself in different towns at least twice a month. With my busy schedule, I have found it hard to keep up with my blog as much as I used to. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!
I meet this adorable couple earlier in the year in Orlando during their proposal session at Disney’s Boardwalk. We instantly clicked and have remained in touch ever since. Post wedding pictures are my favorite because there is no strict which allows for multiple locations and for taking our time.
Photographing Weddings In New York City is always such an adventure. It is always a challenge dodging people, finding amazing lighting amidst all of the tall structures and getting around if you drive (for the safety of all of our camera equipment). In the end though, it is always worth it! I was happy to have a couple of hours simply to focus on their formals in one of the greatest city in the world.

Vintage Maitland Art Center Wedding and Lake Side Reception Hall Wedding
I’m super lucky to get to work with the sweetest and down to earth couples.
Nicole and Saheed were definitely one of them. I had a blast capturing their intimate wedding at Maitland Art Center earlier this year followed by a reception at the Lake Side Reception Hall. The venue was blooming with pink and fuchsia flowers which made the artsy venue even more beautiful. Their wedding was a purple themed classic wedding with a touch of vintage. I loved Nicoles Gown which was beautifully form fitting and hugged her curves in all the right places.
The Wedding day
The couple got ready at the grand bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando. We did a first look on the pool deck of the hotel before heading to the wedding venue. Saheed could not stop laughing and looking at his gorgeous bride the entire time. We then headed to maitland art center where their ceremony was innitiated by a family friend. The Reception took place lakeside at the Lake Side Reception hall which is located close to downtown Orlando. They ended the night with a Lantern Release Ceremony!
I don’t think there could have been a more perfect day! Congratulations to the beautiful couple on their life-long journey together.
