Family Portraits at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Family Portraits at Disney's Magic Kingdom
It was a seriously hot day, but none the less as picturesque as can be. With vivid blue Floridian skies and soft fluffy clouds, I was off to photograph some Family Portraits at Disney’s Magic Kingdom for Candice and her adorable family who were visiting Orlando on a family vacation.
This power couple travels all over the world and always makes sure to capture the fun through professional photographs. I always love photographing at Magic Kingdom because the staff are extremely lenient, flexible and helpful. The grounds are always perfectly primed and you rarely have bored or agitated children during family pictures. An extra perk is the many facilities where you can take a break and cool off as Florida can be dangerously hot in the summer time.
We had such a blast! one of my favorite moments: breaking for french fries and getting to see all of their recent traveling pictures including from Paris and Mexico.
Being an avid traveler myself, I’ve realized during the last few years that I feel the most alive when experiencing life through traveling and learning about different cultures. We definitely bonded through our love for exploring this beautiful planet!
Here is a quick sneak peek.

Valentines Day Disney’s Boardwalk Engagement Session

Disney's Boardwalk Engagement Session

When this beautiful Canadian couple gave me 100% artistic freedom for our engagement session, I knew it would be an amazing photoshoot from the get-go.

Our session was divided so that we would photograph 50 % while the sun was out / sunset and 50% at night time using artificial lighting. And what better backdrop for this then Disney’s Boardwalk! The Boardwalk has incredible ambiance during the evenings as well as a wide variety of backdrops which allows for a very diverse portfolio. I armed myself with my B1 Profoto light to backlight the couple and get that studio look that I love.
This was actually shot on Valentines day, hence the super cute heart shaped balloons! The theme could not be anymore appropriate for the newly engaged couple. We had a blast incorporating them into our shoot.
Funny moment: I was on guard watching the balloons while the couple changed into their second outfit of the day. I had a bunch of couples approach me to purchase a ballon for their loved ones. Apparently, having balloons at the boardwalk is a great business on Valentines day! lol
Hope you enjoy their sneak peek!

Engagement Session at Disney’s Boardwalk
 Disney's Boardwalk Engagement Session
One of my go to spots for engagement sessions is Disney’s Boardwalk. There is a large variety of looks that can be achieved there from beachy, to dreamy, to earthy, to urban. The central lake is a beautiful backdrop along the entire boardwalk, and the charming hotels transports you to another time long gone. I’m a firm believer that variety in looks is key to getting a great client portfolio.
This adorable couple from Canada, booked their engagement Session at Disney’s Boardwalk with me while vacationing in Florida. We started our shoot in the morning at 8am. It was a cloudy morning, but the sun managed to shine through occasionally and we quickly took advantage when it did so to capture photos with that sunshine look that I love. I also loved their choice of outfits for their engagement session! Here is a quick sneak peek.

Disney’s Caribbean Resort Portrait session

I always feel extra special when my clients asks me to photograph them again and again. This year has been a blessing with repeat clients and Nicole and Richards are one of those clients. I had the pleasure of shooting their Disney’s Caribbean Resort Portrait session last week.

I photographed their engagement earlier this year at Disney’s Spring, and had the pleasure of photographing them during their honeymoon as well! The beautiful high school sweet hearts tied the knot on a Carnival cruise last week in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. By coincidence, my mother and I was on vacation on The Royal Caribbean cruise that same week and saw their ship while docked in Mexico! Both of them really convinced me to try cruising when I photographed their engagement. They Spent a few days at the Disney’s Caribbean Resort and I was there to photograph such a special time in their lives.

This was the first time i’ve beet at the resort, and was amazing with how large the resort is. Two of my favorite moments from this session was when a older gentleman gave us access to take some pictures on the dock and even allowed us to go on a boat docked there for some pictures. Another one was when they took their shoes off to sit by the Jacuzzi for some pictures. There was a guy sitting close by in the Jacuzzi the entire time so I had to ninja my way around him 🙂

There are tons of places to walk around and photograph in. I want to congratulate the happy couple on finding their soul mates!
