Samantha and Austin’s Downtown Church Street Engagement Photography

Orlando Engagement Photographers

Church Street in Downtown Orlando has always been a bit of a tricky place to photograph due to the endless crowds dining at the many restaurants there or just passing through. It is often considered as the heart of downtown orlando.
However when I heard that Samantha and Austin’s wedding theme was a 1920’s look, I knew that the historic architecture that makes downtown Church street so special would be the perfect backdrop for their engagement pictures. The area is deeply rooted in Orlando’s history and was developed around the City’s original train station. The Old Orlando Railroad Depot, dedicated in January of 1890 is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a local historic landmark.
Our engagement session started right at sunset. The lighting was lovely and added that golden glow and light flares to the pictures. My assistant Luis helped tow around my lighting as we jumped on over to photograph outside the Ballroom at Church Street; a potential venue for the couples upcoming wedding.

The funny thing is, I was editing these pictures while watching “Singing in the Rain”. How befitting!
Hope you enjoy their sneak peek.

Hema and Josh Paradise Cove Wedding Photography

Paradise Cove Wedding Photography

A lot of people that come to Orlando seem surprised when told that the beach is a 45-50 minute drive away. I receive plenty of messages from inquiries in regards to photographing their engagements on the beach-  in Orlando. Surprising enough, I only know of one venue that has a real beach vibe to it, and that’s paradise cove.

I’ve always enjoyed photographing at Paradise Cove because the sun sets beautifully right on their very own beach.
I’ll take it!
On that note, I had a blast capturing Hema and Josh’s wedding at Paradise Cove. I’ve been trying to blog this one for a while now, but life has been crazy and I’m currently rearranging my priorities.
I just came back from New York- on my way to Mexico tomorrow on a am flight and leaving for China in two weeks! Life has had me out of the office lately.
Hemma and Josh tied the knot right after christmas in a very intimate, beach themed wedding along with close friends and family. Josh arrived on a speed boat with his groomsmen which added a fun twist to their wedding ceremony. I mean, the boat SPED in and created big waves on it’s way.
Their wedding decor was gold and navy, which was so appropriately nautical. Hope you enjoy this  quick little sneak peek <3

Alex and Lucy’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Wedding Photography
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Wedding Photography
Lucy and Alex’s Wedding was super intimate; the most intimate wedding that I have ever photographed to date with a total of 13 guests (including the couple!). They did not, however, compromise on style and details. Their wedding was classy and equally stunning.
A limo arrived at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel to usher the bride, Lucy, and her family to the ceremony site. The wedding ceremony took place in an Italian style indoor pavilion at the hotel, which was draped with gorgeous blue Gentiana flowers.
Mixed flower arrangements stood tall in clear vases on dinner table that seated the entire wedding party. Conversations, cheers and laughter quickly ensued right after everyone were seated. After all, this wedding was attended by the best of friends and family only.
The sun set right in time for their couple formals, and I was able to shoot with the sun behind the couple by powering my light to the highest power and using high speed sync on my Profoto B1. This technique allows me to capture the clouds in the back by exposing for the sky, while lighting up the couple at the same time.
Some of my Favorite moments from their wedding: Taking pictures of the lovely bride and her stunningly gorgeous dress by the famous spiral staircase at the hotel. Another favorite moment was me climbing inside a rose bush to get the shot of them with the roses in the front. I got a couple of thorns in the making of that image – but it was worth it.
I want to congratulate the beautiful couple on such a beautiful wedding!

Beautiful Wedding formals photographed in Kissimmee

Orlando event photographer

I’m in love with simplicity just as much as I enjoy glitz and Glamour. I’m equally in love with how these beautiful wedding formals, photographed in Kissimmee turned out.

I’ve fund that the essence of life is love and family. The more love that we have, the more beautiful our lives become. It is for this reason that I love photographing intimate weddings, where the focus is simply the couple and their love for each other. Their wedding decor is their friends and the theme is simply Love. This wedding was simple yet beautiful.
Matilde contacted me over a year ago in regards to photographing her wedding ceremony and selected my intimate ceremony package for their wedding day where I offer Intimate Wedding Photography for 1-2 hours. They wanted formal portraits captured right after their ceremony. Their wedding was held at their family church in Kissimme, and the formals took place right outside next to the parking lot. I had very limited space to work with but found a beautiful tree behind the church to use as the backdrop for their formals.
I love how these pictures came out, simple, beautiful and full of love.
