Alex and Lucy’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Wedding Photography
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Wedding Photography
Lucy and Alex’s Wedding was super intimate; the most intimate wedding that I have ever photographed to date with a total of 13 guests (including the couple!). They did not, however, compromise on style and details. Their wedding was classy and equally stunning.
A limo arrived at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel to usher the bride, Lucy, and her family to the ceremony site. The wedding ceremony took place in an Italian style indoor pavilion at the hotel, which was draped with gorgeous blue Gentiana flowers.
Mixed flower arrangements stood tall in clear vases on dinner table that seated the entire wedding party. Conversations, cheers and laughter quickly ensued right after everyone were seated. After all, this wedding was attended by the best of friends and family only.
The sun set right in time for their couple formals, and I was able to shoot with the sun behind the couple by powering my light to the highest power and using high speed sync on my Profoto B1. This technique allows me to capture the clouds in the back by exposing for the sky, while lighting up the couple at the same time.
Some of my Favorite moments from their wedding: Taking pictures of the lovely bride and her stunningly gorgeous dress by the famous spiral staircase at the hotel. Another favorite moment was me climbing inside a rose bush to get the shot of them with the roses in the front. I got a couple of thorns in the making of that image – but it was worth it.
I want to congratulate the beautiful couple on such a beautiful wedding!

Disney’s Caribbean Resort Portrait session

I always feel extra special when my clients asks me to photograph them again and again. This year has been a blessing with repeat clients and Nicole and Richards are one of those clients. I had the pleasure of shooting their Disney’s Caribbean Resort Portrait session last week.

I photographed their engagement earlier this year at Disney’s Spring, and had the pleasure of photographing them during their honeymoon as well! The beautiful high school sweet hearts tied the knot on a Carnival cruise last week in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. By coincidence, my mother and I was on vacation on The Royal Caribbean cruise that same week and saw their ship while docked in Mexico! Both of them really convinced me to try cruising when I photographed their engagement. They Spent a few days at the Disney’s Caribbean Resort and I was there to photograph such a special time in their lives.

This was the first time i’ve beet at the resort, and was amazing with how large the resort is. Two of my favorite moments from this session was when a older gentleman gave us access to take some pictures on the dock and even allowed us to go on a boat docked there for some pictures. Another one was when they took their shoes off to sit by the Jacuzzi for some pictures. There was a guy sitting close by in the Jacuzzi the entire time so I had to ninja my way around him 🙂

There are tons of places to walk around and photograph in. I want to congratulate the happy couple on finding their soul mates!

Formal Wedding pictures at Greenhill Presbyterian Church

Formal Wedding pictures at Greenhill Presbyterian Church

Happy 4th of July! Hope you have a blessed weekend filled with love, and those near and dear. In Honor of Independence day, I’m sharing this quick sneak peek from a wedding that I got to photograph earlier last month. Photographing individuals who offer their energy, time and lives for the service of our nation and for our protection is always a great honor for me. Throw in a purple heart and thats the cherry on a huge cake. I’m sharing a few formals from Julia and Christian’s church wedding which I got to photograph last week. I was there for just a few couple of hours to capture their family filled intimate wedding held at the Greenhill Presbyterian church in Orlando. Christian is currently stationed in Kansas and his beautiful bride will be joining him soon.

Hope you enjoy this little offering!

We had the pleasure of working with Raven this week on her business portraits for her re-branding project. Raven is the founder and CEO of Healthy Life and Oils. This project is part of her re-branding and re-launch of her website www.healthylifeandoils.com

Raven wanted some fun and approachable professional portraits to be used in part for her coaching and wellness programs. Raven is a Certified Holistic Life Coach and entrepreneur with a masters degree in business administration. She shares her knowledge of oils as an educator and as a wellness coach helping people to live their lives to the fullest. We love working with people who make a change in this world!
Our photography session took place in Park Ave, Winter Park, which is my all time favorite place to photograph. Check out the multitude of various backgrounds. Its hard to believe these images were shot in a 3 block parameter!
