Anuj and Ambika’s New Jersey Indian Wedding Photography
I had the lovely honor of photographing Anuj’s and Ambika’s Wedding which took place in New Jersey last month. The Ceremony and reception took place at a newer venue called The Marigold which is popular for Indian weddings. I photographed Anjuj’s Brothers Wedding in NJ 3 years ago (see here), and Anuj’s Brother’s, Wife’s brother’s wedding (See here) in Atlanta 2 years ago (I know, a bit confusing) so I’m always excited to be around people that now feel like family to me. Let’s just say I’ve been around a bit!
Benjamin came along for the ride as my second shooter and photography assistant. The ceremony was a traditional Vedic yagia (sacrificial fire) followed by a day time reception in a large hall on the property. Talk about a beautiful display of food and details. The color scheme was a multitude of colors which seamlessly and surprisingly blended so well together. And OMG, they had the most beautiful wedding cake that I have ever seen! They also had the Mayapuris and Gaura Vani there performing some beautiful Kirtan (sacred music) to help usher in the festivities and lots of dancing. We headed to Rutgers university to do their formal pictures just as the sun was setting.
Favorite moment: Taking beautiful pictures of the gorgeous Ambika. Another Great moment was seeing Gaura Gopal there, whom is a famous speaker known for his funny spiritual talks. I was a bit star struck! You can view him in action here.
Hope you enjoy their sneak peek!

Wedding Photography Portraits in New York City
I was lucky enough to photograph this gorgeous couple’s Wedding Photography Portraits in New York City while there for another wedding. Benjamin, my second shooter and I went straight from our flight to meet them in downtown Brooklyn to shoot their wedding formals under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge in the gorgeous Dumbo neighborhood. Life has been a whirlwind of traveling as of lately, finding myself in different towns at least twice a month. With my busy schedule, I have found it hard to keep up with my blog as much as I used to. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!
I meet this adorable couple earlier in the year in Orlando during their proposal session at Disney’s Boardwalk. We instantly clicked and have remained in touch ever since. Post wedding pictures are my favorite because there is no strict which allows for multiple locations and for taking our time.
Photographing Weddings In New York City is always such an adventure. It is always a challenge dodging people, finding amazing lighting amidst all of the tall structures and getting around if you drive (for the safety of all of our camera equipment). In the end though, it is always worth it! I was happy to have a couple of hours simply to focus on their formals in one of the greatest city in the world.

Diva and Kenny’s Mission Inn Resort Wedding
Where do I begin to describe Kenny and Diva’s beautiful Mission Inn Wedding?
First of all, Kenny and Diva are the nicest people that you will ever meet. Diva, is a petite, perky Red head, who is a Lawyer and loves Bar and Yoga (she is super fit), and Kenny is tall, handsome and soft-spoken and absolutely adores his gorgeous wife. Together, they are a match made in heaven. They meet at a College Bar called Knight’s library and Kenny popped the question after 4 years of dating during their first vacation together.
Their wedding theme was Romantic and Elegant with a hint of rustic. Mission Inn Resort is a great place for weddings because the venue has abundant greenery and florals decorating each space including the ceremony sites.
“I love Kenny’s sense of humor, his thoughtfulness, and his intuition,” Diva says about her now husband <3
We had an amazing team who worked tirelessly to make their wedding day perfect, including Wedding Planner Katie Jimenez of Big Day Celebrations.

Vraja-Gopal and Gopi Kumari’s Indian Wedding Photography at ISKCON Temple
Vraja and Gopi celebrated their Vedic Wedding with a traditional Fire Yagna (Fire sacrifice) at the Beautiful ISKCON Alachua temple this weekend and we were there to capture the fun by photographing their wedding!
Vraja was a childhood friend of my husbands, so it was extra special to be able to photography his and Gopi’s wedding!
Vraja and Gopi had two weddings- They had a traditional western wedding (white gown and suit) last year and their formal religious wedding at the temple joined by close friends and family. The mandap was decorated beautifully with red and orange roses wich complimented their bright outfits and was a nice contrast to the abundant greenery. The temple is Situated on a tranquil, rural 127-acre property in Alachua and the mandap was placed in a rustic, outdoorsy area of the property surrounded by mature trees. Ragunath officiated the Yagna beautifully as he always does! It was nice to connect with some old friends and to make new ones. Favorite moment: Special appearance by Their spiritual Master HH Radhanath Swami!
Here is their sneak peek.
