Gabby- she is just everything wonderful in one package! Funny, smart, kind, giving intelligent and looks like a model on top of that. I had the honor of photographing her senior photography at Kraft Azalea Park earlier this week.
The day started off with dark gloomy clouds lingering over Winter Park but that did not stop us from keeping the session as scheduled; and we were all glad that we did.
We got the perfect lighting for our photo shoot and the sun eventually came out to say high for just a few minutes- just enough to capture these gorgeously back lit pictures. My style is slowly transforming into a more fashion inspired style, with demure eyes, swan like poses, dreaminess and gentle smiles (smile with your eyes!). I really really love the way these came out! Gabby had 3 outfits to change into, and by the time our session wrapped out, it really started to rain! We had such a blast through it all.
I always feel extra special when my clients asks me to photograph them again and again. This year has been a blessing with repeat clients and Nicole and Richards are one of those clients. I had the pleasure of shooting their Disney’s Caribbean Resort Portrait session last week.
I photographed their engagement earlier this year at Disney’s Spring, and had the pleasure of photographing them during their honeymoon as well! The beautiful high school sweet hearts tied the knot on a Carnival cruise last week in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. By coincidence, my mother and I was on vacation on The Royal Caribbean cruise that same week and saw their ship while docked in Mexico! Both of them really convinced me to try cruising when I photographed their engagement. They Spent a few days at the Disney’s Caribbean Resort and I was there to photograph such a special time in their lives.
This was the first time i’ve beet at the resort, and was amazing with how large the resort is. Two of my favorite moments from this session was when a older gentleman gave us access to take some pictures on the dock and even allowed us to go on a boat docked there for some pictures. Another one was when they took their shoes off to sit by the Jacuzzi for some pictures. There was a guy sitting close by in the Jacuzzi the entire time so I had to ninja my way around him 🙂
There are tons of places to walk around and photograph in. I want to congratulate the happy couple on finding their soul mates!
Grand Floridian and Disney’s boardwalk formal Pictures
If you know me well, then you know that one of my favorite locations in Orlando to hold photo shoots is Disney’s Boardwalk. I even wrote a blog about it a while back which can be viewed here, along with 3 of my other favorite locations in orlando. There is a lot of diversity in backgrounds there and I’ve found a lot of hidden gems over time that look amazing in pictures besides the famous lighthouse. When Jamie and David contacted me about getting some formal pictures done, we decided on splitting the session into two locations- the Grand Floridian for formal pics and the Boardwalk for more casual formals. The beautiful couple is getting married in China next year, but wanted me to capture their portraits for them. it was a hot day, and we welcomed the cooler dawn, accompanied by pink and blue fluffy clouds.
I finally got to set up my Orlando home studio last month and been capturing back to back Studio Bridal Portraits since then. Luckily for me, my living room is big enough to accommodate a 9 ft backdrop and pro lights! I’ve been working on a few creative projects as of recent, and working in my own environment keeps my creative juices flowing really well.
This gorgeous Bride named Cynthia came over for some bridal portraits two weeks ago. We had such a blast listening to music, doing her make-up and chatting about life. I had the honor of photographing her gorgeous wedding at the Mission Inn Resort earlier this year, which can be viewed here. I love the demureness, sweetness and femininity to her portrait pictures. Cynthia was happy to wear her wedding dress once again! It still fit just like a glove 🙂 Studio format pictures is something that I’m learning to love more and more, because they look so gorgeous and elegant framed on the wall (not on canvas in my opinion).
