A Photographers Vacation Pictures- Images from Puerto Rico
If you haven’t already noticed- we love to travel. Traveling is a photographers drug!
Traveling “Light” is almost impossible for us since we like to bring all of our gear with us. Our compromise is usually leaving our tripod at home. This can result in many great challenges such as trying to capture a waterfall at a slow shutter speed without it. Working in harsh conditions – like in the slippery rain forest with no tripod, allow us to be creative and to really get to know our cameras on a very personal level (like using my knee as a tripod- and hey it worked!) After doing four loads of laundry trying to get all the mud stains out of our clothing and shoes, I am sharing some of our vacation pictures!
Denisse was born in Puerto Rico, but have not been back since. Her parents were sailors (mom from Dominican Republic and father from Sweden) and they happened to be docked in old San Juan when her mother went into labor. They later moved to Sweden where she grew up. Needless to say, we will be returning many times over after our amazing time there.
