Radhika and Vakesvara’s Miami Indian Vedic Wedding

USE-2005

A pleasant surprise

I have no words to describe how gorgeous Radhika and Vakesvara’s Miami Vedic Wedding was. I was surprised to get a message from Radhika and Vakresvara on Facebook about three months before their wedding day. They asked if we would be available to photograph their Indian Vedic Wedding in Miami. I meet Radhika and Vakresvara a few years back in New York City at a Bhagavad-Gita Study group. Radhika is a beautiful and outgoing person. I remember her always asking the questions that I was too shy to ask. Vakresvara is a musician and very kind and soft spoken. They meet over 7 years ago and I never saw one without the other.

from Orlando to Miami

I was honored to say the least to be given the opportunity to photograph such amazing people on their special day. We both love to photograph Indian weddings because of the culture, the festive mood, the spirituality and for being so family oriented. They booked us right away and the rest is history. After a 4 hour drive from Orlando to Miami, we checked in at the Embassy Suites by the Airport to settle in for the getting ready shots. We got a room only two doors doown from Radhika’s suite where she was getting primed and ready for her afternoon wedding.

The perfect location for an Indian Wedding

The Indian vedic ceremony and reception was held at Vrinda’s meditation Garden which was decorated in vibrant Pink and Orange. The garden is a heaven for spirituality and a small retreat within the busy city of Miami. The Vedic Ceremony started after some sweet blessings from their Gurudeva (spiritual teacher).

Thank god that pictures speak a thousand words!

On a side note* The Wedding cake was soo delicious and highly recommended!! Totally organic and vegan with 100% edible flowers! The cake had three flavors- Passion fruit, blueberry and Spirulina!

Radhika and Vakresvara’s Miami Beach Engagement | Orlando Engagement Photographers

Orlando Engagement Photographers

We had the honor of capturing our friends Radhika and Vakresvara engagement shoot in Miami Beach last week. There is nothing more fun and exciting than photographing dear friends 🙂 A famous quote comes to mind “working hard or hardly working”.

The engagement shoot was such a blast and we could have continued all day if it was up to us :)We traversed up and down the famous Miami Beach Boardwalk searching for and finding some great spots for photography.

Radhika and Vakresvara have been best friends and in love for over 7 years now. They wanted an engagement shoot that represents who they are individually and as a couple. Living in the busy city of New York, Radhika and Vakresvara have made it a point to keep spirituality a fixed center of their relationship and wanted us to represent that through our photography.

The theme for their engagement shoot was part “Indian” and part “Street/ City”.

Here is a sneak peak for your enjoyment!

Orlando Event Photography Birthday Party 3 Frames.

We wanted to share 3 little frames from Luke’s 5th Birthday Party at Monkey Joe’s at Pointe Orlando. We come across events like this occasionally and we’re ever joyful to partake, and capture the precious moments, one’s young little life as this boy’s is.

Though it’s not easy for a young 5 year to stay still amid all the spectacle of Monkey Joe’s at Point Orlando, we manage to play “paparazzi”  with the young boy.

As orlando event photographers, we have to specialize in unobtrusive tactics to get the event covered smoothly. Overall, we just LOVE photographing kids. His mother only wanted candid shoots so here it is! To view our portfolio: http://lotuseyesphotography.com/orlando-event-photographer–/

Romantic Engagement shoot in St. Augustine | Orlando Engagement Photographers

Orlando Engagement Photographer

St. Augustine is one of our favorite cities in Florida. Surrounded by beaches, museums and old time charm, St. Augustine will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was in this magical place that we got engaged. Although we never had an official engagement photo shoot (besides a couple of selfies) since we are always busy traveling and photographing others, we were thrilled to be back in a place that hold such romantic sentiment for us. We arrived a little early (well… about 4 hours early) and made the trip into a much needed beach day before the photo shoot. A few hugs and what seemed like a pound of sweets later, we were ready to capture the romantic essence of this town, and the love between our dear clients Sonia and Brian.

Sonia and Brian, from Orlando, meet over a year ago and are getting married at the end of this month.

The happy couple lovingly strolled through the historic alleys and brick-lined streets of down town Saint Augustine as the sun was setting (and quickly turned into night). Sonia and Brian are complete naturals in front of the camera. We found some really cool spots in between the dark alleys and are excited to share this sneak peak with you.

We want to congratulate Sonia and Brian on their engagement and we are excited to be able to capture their wedding soon!
